The object of the Hanayama "Seahorse" is to separate (remove) the one cast metal seahorse shaped part from the second metal seahorse. Then you must put them back together so that they will stand up in their original position. This Hanayama puzzle was created by Nob Yoshigahara (1936 - 2004) in the summer of 1997 when he apparently saw fish in an aquarium.
